With the Sweex External 4 Port Micro USB 2.0 HUB (US005) it is possible to easily connect multiple USB devices, such as an Internet phone or webcam to a computer! The handy design of the HUB enables the user to rotate any port according to personal preference, so that even large and wide USB devices, such as an MP3 player or WiFi adaptor, can be connected without blocking adjacent USB ports. The HUB is very compact and as such easy to travel with. The HUB can be used both at home with a desktop PC and on the road with a notebook.

This product achieves a maximum data transfer speed of 480 Mbps, 40 times faster than USB 1.1. Since the product is hot swappable, each USB device, including the HUB itself, can be easily connected or removed whilst the computer is switched on. The HUB is also fitted with a tension overload and short-circuit protection for each port. In the event of an overload, the HUB detects it and the relevant port is switched off.

For even greater convenience, the USB connection of this device can be easily stored on the side of the HUB. The Sweex HUB includes a USB extension cable of 43 cm. The USB hub is availbale now for a recommended retail price of £ 9,95
