Daily Tech has posted some more about a rumored update on Microsoft's game console. Earlier this year some pictures surfaced of an Xbox 360 with a bigger gard drive and a HDMI port.

They have now found an article in the April issue of Game Informer, that features a black Xbox 360 with a 120GB hard drive and includes a HDMI cable. The price mentioned for this version is US$ 479. Current owners of a 360 would be able to purchase the bigger drive as a seperate item for around US$200, the article claims.

There seems to be no change in the DVD drive in the "new" Xbox, and the HD-DVD drive will still have to be bought as a add-on. When checking with Microsoft they denied the development of the black 360 and stated that they were "always experimenting with new technologies". The editors at Game Informer however are adement that this story is not a prank and an updated version of the 360 will be released this year.
