Like its arch-rival Gigabyte, Asus is preparing a USB 3.0/SATA 6.0 Gbps offensive which will begin with the release of several P55 motherboards bearing the two features mentioned. Seen below are two of the upcoming models from Asus are the P7P55D-E Premium and P6X58D Premium, both of which have two SATA 6.0 Gbps and two USB 3.0 ports. The models also boast support for LGA 1156 processors (Core i5/i7), have a heap of power phases and include the TurboV overclocking technology, and feature DDR3 memory slots (four on the P7P55D-E Premium, six on the P6X58D Premium), six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and two (P7P55D-E Premium) and three (P6X58D Premium) PCI-Express x16 slots.
