DRAM contract prices up in 2H October, says DRAMeXchange

Contract prices for both 1Gb DDR2 and 1Gb DDR3 chips continued to rally in the second half of October 2009, with the former topping US$2, according to data from DRAMeXchange. The average price of 1Gb DDR2 chips edged up by 15.7% to US$2.06, surpassing 1Gb DDR3 at US$1.94.
