DFI has today rolled out the ES951, a compact, fanless system aimed for use in embedded market segments like digital signage, gaming machine, kiosk, medical electronics, industrial control, security & surveillance, and telecommunications. Available only in black, the new embedded PC measures 172 (L) x 125.6 (W) x 52 (H) mm, weights and has a 1.6 GHz Atom N270 CPU, one DDR2 SO-DIMM supporting up to 2GB of RAM, integrated graphics, a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bay, one Kensington security slot, Gigabit Ethernet, two COM and two USB ports, plus a D-Sub output. The system comes bundled with a universal 60-watt power adaptor.
