Two more days until Windows 7's release and AMD has finally made the official announcement regarding its newest AM3 processors, all of which bare the Athlon brand name. The fresh quad-, tri- and dual-core CPUs go from $69 to $143 and are claimed to deliver a "superior competitive value for mainstream consumers in productivity, HD video, slideshow, and 3D gaming tasks."
