Taiwan-based Evercool Thermal has now introduced a little something to make this summer seem a little more bearable for our precious hard drives, the Armor HDD cooler. Coming in black and white, the Armor weights 585.5 grams, takes up two 5.25-inch bays, is equipped with a front-placed removable dust filter, and supports up to 3.5-inch drives. To cool off the HDDs, the Armor makes use of a 80mm two ball bearing fan working at 1200 RPM and featuring a sound output of under 26 dBA. According to Evercool, the cooler will start shipping this month so keep an eye out for it if your HDDs are sweating excessively.
