Revealed earlier today, the Accelero Xtreme 9800 VGA cooler has now been officially introduced by its maker. Arctic Cooling's new release is, as the name suggests, compatible with GeForce 9800 GTX cards and, like its older brothers the Xtreme 2900 and 8800, it stands out due to the three 80mm fans it is equipped with. Hooked up to a massive heatsink with 107 aluminum fins and five 6mm heatpipes, the three fluid dynamic bearing fans work at speeds from 700 to 2000 RPM. The Accelero Xtreme 9800 is SLI compatible and is said to offer up to 33% more efficient cooling compared to the stock solution. The new VGA cooler will become available next month and cost $53.95 or 34.95 Euro.
