Port replicator
As we have come to expect from any modern notebook Wireless LAN and Gigabit LAN come as standard. Amongst some of the options on offer from NEC we find the possibility of adding a Bluetooth-adapter and a selection of hard drives ranging from 40 GB to 100GB. The machine we received came equipped with a Western Digital 80 GB hard drive along with a DVD-burner and a card reader capable of using both memory sticks and SD-cards. On the rear of the unit we find a port replicator connection which is compatible with the NEC Port Replicator.
When looking at the general performance of the Versa M360 it comes as no surprise that the performance in the graphics department is nothing to write home about, but this is a business model and it was never meant to be a killer gaming rig. The Versa does very well in the PCMark benchmarks and this is mainly due to the relatively powerful CPU that NEC have used. During our Productivity test we managed to get 4,5 hours of battery life from the Versa, an excellent score for any business notebook. The excellent battery life combined with good performance make the Versa M360 a great choice for any business user.
