The Collaboration between the Japanese and German companies Fujitsu and Siemens has resulted in some eye-catching products. This time round German thoroughness coupled with Japanese technological savvy have come together to create a notebook weighing in at just 1 kilogram.
Notebooks with a weight of 1 kilo are seen as true status symbols by both the users and manufacturers. For manufacturers it's a chance to show of the skills and know how of their notebook designers. There is an ongoing struggle between Sony, Toshiba and Fujitsu (Siemens) to outdo each other by constantly releasing smaller, lighter and more powerful notebooks. Fujitsu Siemens sent us their latest contestant in this battle of the titans, the Lifebook Q2010.
