Hercules has introduced the Dualpix Emotion, a webcam with CMOS-sensor and a 1,3 megapixel resolution. The auto-focus lens is to create clear images, without having to worry about movement; the camera stays in focus.

The Hercules Dualpix Emotion offers an image resolution of 5 megapixels (in interpolation mode), with a maximum video resolution of 1280x1024. The device also features an integrated microphone, bundled headset and a High-Speed USB 2.0 Video Class-connector for direct installation in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Also bundled is the Webcam Station Evolution-software, which allows several image-recording modes to be selected (single/burst/self-timer). The software also has options for face-tracking and automatic file conversion.

The Dualpix Emotion is to be released by the end of this month, bearing a pricetag of € 49,99.
