Earlier today, AMD launched its new Radeon HD 5750 and 5770 graphics cards. Manufacturer Sapphire is among the first to display the cards to the public.
The Sapphire HD 5770 1 GB is equal to AMD's reference model. The chip features 800 stream processors, 1 GB of GDDR5 memory and a 128-bit interface. The core is clocked at 850 MHz, the memory chips at 1200 MHz (effectively 4800 MHz). The card supports CrossFireX and Eyefinity (up to three monitors per card). Two dual link DVI-ports, an HDMI-connector and a DisplayPort-connector are present on the card.
Unsurprisingly, Sapphire's Radeon HD 5750 1 GB is also equal to AMD's reference model. 720 stream processors, core clock frequency of 700 MHz, 1 GB GDDR5-memory clocked at 1150 MHz. The connectivity options are equal to those of the Radeon HD 5770.
Sapphire has a full-retail version of both cards, including a voucher for the racegame Colin McRae DIRT 2. Despite the launch, it will take some time before the card will become fully available.
