ASUS announces new design monitors

ASUS has announced the Designo MS-series of design monitors. The line-up includes screens of 20-, 22-, 21.5-, 23- and 23.6-inch. ASUS has combined a black glossy front panel with a white rear. The 16,5 mm thick monitors are held upright by means of a ring.

The screens feature a TFT-panel with a 1600 x 900 (MS202N/D), 1680 x 1050 (MS227N) or a 1920 x 1080 (MS226H, MS236H/D, MS246H/D) pixel resolution, 2 ms (gray-to-gray) response time, maximum brightness of 250 cd/m² and a dynamic contrast of 50.000:1. Connectivity includes D-Sub and HDMI. ASUS has also integrated a 3.5 mm audio-jack for headphone users.

The Designo MS236H sports a recommended pricetag of 259 euro. It's likely that the screens will be available by the end of this year.
