Following the HomeTheater HD, manufacturer Auzentech has introduced two more soundcards. the X-Raider 7.1 and X-Studio 5.1 are to become affordable upgrades of the onboard audiochip. Auzentech has also reported that the soundquality in games, movies and music will be significantly better than when using onboard audio. Both soundcards support 24bit/96kHz-sound through the optical output and are compatible with Windows XP/Vista and motherboards with either an Intel or AMD processor.

The Auzentech X-Raider 7.1 is a PCI soundcard which uses the CMI 8768 chipset and four exchangable High-performance Operational Amplifiers (OPAMPs) for all channels. the exchangable OPAMPs make it possible to adjust the consonance colour of the attached speakers to one's own taste. There's also an SPDIF (optical) in and out, internal digital output, support for HD frontpanel audio-connectors, Xear3D, EAX 1.0/2.0, A3D and DirectSound.

Auzentech's X-Studio 5.1 is a low-profile PCI soundcard that uses the VIA ICE 1723 audiochip and two exchangable front-left and front-right channel OPAMPs, internal digital output, support for Qsound Labs 3D Surround Engine driver and HD front panel audio-jacks.

Auzentech has the X-Raider 7.1 on sale for $60 USD. The X-Studio 5.1 costs $50 USD.
