It's no secret that nVidia's GTS 250 graphics card is nothing more than a rebranded GeForce 9800GTX+ on a smaller PCB. To add some value, several manufacturers have been launching GTS 250 cards with alternative coolers or increased memory capacities. Galaxy has also developed a GTS 250 card and equipped it with a new dual-slot cooler. The card features the conventional G92b GPU with 128 stream processors and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory.

It's remarkable that the card has connectors for DVI, HDMI and D-sub, making it possible to connect virtually every monitor without requiring convertors. To use the HDMI audio, an S/PDIF cable will have to be attached internally to either the motherboard or soundcard. Galaxy has used a 5-phase power design on the card, which should ensure a stable usage even under high clock frequencies. Lastly, the card is equipped with a double BIOS function, which guarantee that the card will remain working, even after a failed BIOS flash.

The clock frequencies for both the GPU and the shader units are reference speeds, respectively 738 and 1836 MHz. The memory however, has been overclocked: the card uses faster 0,8 ns GDDR3 chips and has them clocked at 2600 MHz. Pricing and availability information is still unknown.
