ASRock recently presented a concept version of its X58 SuperComputer motherboard. The company has informed us that the motherboard is now ready and officially released. The final version has an altered appearance compared to the earlier images that were shown. ASRock also packs an number of CrossfireX- and SLI-bridges with the board.

A new eSATA/USB connector, which makes the adaptor of an external HDD unrequired.
The specifications of the motherboard haven't changed much. It features four PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots, supports DDR3-2000 memory and is compatible with ATI's CrossFireX and nVidia's SLI technologies. The X58 SUperComputer also has two Gbit LAN controllers with teaming-functionality. Its 7.1 HD audio codec supports DTS.
