Silent RAID-solutions by LaCie and Noctua

LaCie and Noctua have joined forces in the designing of acoustic optimized storage solutions. The recently introduced LaCie 4big Quadra and LaCie 5big Network are the first LaCie devices that use Noctua's cooling technology. With the NF-P12-fan, the sound of these storage devices should have decreased with an average 40% when compared to their predecessors.

With capacities of up to respectively 6 and 7.5 TB and the hot-swap-option, the LaCie 4big Quadra and LaCie 5big Network support seven RAID-modes to optimize performance and data security. The Noctua NF-P12-fan (with Vortex-Control Notches) is to provide the devices with a far more pleasant acoustic profile.
