It has been quite some time since we have reported the arrival of new drives capable of writing on Blu Ray media, but Pioneer has recently announced a new addition to the line up. The BDR-S03J-BK (BlacK) and BDR-S03J-W (White) are able to put data on a Blu-Ray disc at 8x speed, feature the SATA 2 interface for a theoretical throughput of 6Gbit/sec and have a memory buffer of 4MB.
