Corsair introduced a new line of power supplies earlier this week, branded Corsair Power. The company claims an excellent price/performance ratio, aimed towards the mainstream segment. The first model in the series is the CX400W, which as the name suggests, is a 400W version.
The black supply lives up to Intel's ATX12V 2.2 specifications, features a temperature-controlled 120 mm fan and bears the 80-plus efficiency certificate. The +12 Volt-rail is able to provide up to 30 Amps constantly. The PSU has six SATA and six molex power connectors, two connectors for floppy disks and a 6+2 pins PCI-Express connector for the graphics card. Each cable is sleeved as well.
Corsair provides a three-year warranty with the power supply. At the moment of writing, it can be found in our price comparison at a price of $55,24.
