Enermax has released a new mid-tower chassis. The Staray, as it is called is a black case with a meshed front panel. Because the graphics cards are taking over the position of the processor when it comes to heat production, Enermax has placed two 120 mm fans on the left side panel, which blow directly over the GPUs and chipset.
The chassis uses an ATX form-factor in combinaiton with seven PCI expansion slots. The front of the case has room for four external 5.25" drives and a total of seven 3.5" drives. Two of those 3.5" bays are external, making it possible to place a cardreader, fancontroller or floppydrive in the chassis. The Staray features a toolless design for its 5.25" and 3.5" drives.
To create an even better airflow, a 120 mm fan has been placed on both the front and the rear of the case, sporting blue LEDs. The front panel houses two USB ports and two audio-jacks. Enermax's new Staray chassis will be available shortly and is to cost about 49,90 euro.
