Because Blu-Ray has won the battle, LG has decided to stop the production of Blu-ray/HD-DVD drive combo's. LG will stop it's combo drive production in the second half of this year.

The current second generation combo-drives will be the last, meaning that if you are looking for such a drive, now is the time.
