AMD has introduced a new platform for the business market earlier this week. The company wants to releae desktops as well as notebooks under the name AMD Business Class. The platform, that will stand for stability, performance and durability, has the 780V as recommended desktop chipset. Though the 780V has an onboard graphics card (Radeon 3100) seperate cards from the 3000 series are also an option. The used processors are the Phenom X4 9600B, Phenom X3 8600B, Athlon X2 4450B and Athlon 1640B.

OEM's like Acer, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens, Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo plan to sell AMD's Business Class computers. The new platform's business notebooks will be based on Puma, and are to be released in the second half of this year.
