Arctic Cooling launches Fusion 550R

Arctic Cooling enters the power supply market with its Fusion 550R. In a cooperation with Seasonic, the company claims to have developed an extremely silent and efficient PSU. The 550 Watt power supply is produced conforming the ATX form factor and should fit in all ATX cases therefore. It has two 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe connectors, making it able to power a Crossfire- or SLI-setup. 

With a claimed efficiency of 81 up to 86% the single rubber-mounted 80mm fan should be enough to keep the supply cool. Two external fan-connectors are also bundled, making it possible to control the airflow in the case as well. 

The Fusion 550R has three years of warranty and a recommended price of €71,- (incl. VAT).
