Patriot's new Centrino 2 Ready SO-DIMMS

Recently, Intel introduced the new Centrino 2 notebook platform. One of the most important updates that came with Centrino 2 is the support for DDR3 memory. Manufacturer Patriot joins Intel's trend and announces new DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM memory in the Signature-series. 

The fast notebook memory will be available in seperate 1 GB and 2 GB modules or as 4 GB dual channel kit. The PC3-8500 memory runs at an effective frequency of 1066 MHz with a CAS latency of 7 and a voltage of 1.5v. The memory comes with the standard lifetime warranty.
