Early GeForce GTX buyers to get a refund

If you've purchased a GeForce GTX 260 or 280 between the 16th of June and the 7th, 11th, and 16th of July from respectively EVGA, BFG or XFX, is legible to get a part of his money refunded. nVidia has taken this initiative as a response to its sudden price decrease for the GTX260 and GTX280.

Shamefully, the offers of XFX and BFG are currently only valid in the US and Canada. BFG reports to be working on a solution for Europe, XFX does not seem to have any plans for this. EVGA doesn't report any specific countries: the offer by this brand may be valid in other parts of the world as well.

For a GTX 260 the manufacturers return up to about $60,-, for a GTX 280 the double. Applications for the refund can be turned in online: the respective links have been added as a source.
