Biostar sent us two press releases today, announcing the release of three card in the GeForce 7900 series. The card which is availble immediately is the Σgate (pronounced Sigma Gate) V7903GT22. This card is based on nVidia's GeForce 7900GS, with a core clock of 450Mhz and a memory clock of 1,32Ghz.
Designed for extreme HD gaming, the NVIDIA SLI Ready GeForce 7900 GS graphics processing units (GPUs) deliver the most graphics performance bang for your buck, including ultra-realistic gaming experiences and resolutions up to 2560x1600. Biostars Σgate series cards
The second pressrelease informs us of the upcoming launch of two cards based on nVidia's GeForce 7950GT GPU. The ΣgateV7953GT52 and V7953GT22 sport a core Clock of 550MHz and GDDR3 memory clocked at 1,4GHZ. The 7950GT based cards will have HDCP support, HDTV support and the maximum resolution supported is 2560 x 1600.
Both the 7900GS card and the two 7950GT cards are ready for the upcoming Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. More information and specifications can found on the Biostar website .
