Gigabyte is quickly moving to adopt both USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 Gbps for its updated P55 motherboard line, and so after seeing the P55A-UD4, we can now also feast our eyes on the P55A-UD6 model. This board has pretty much the same specs as the P55-UD6 but, as mentioned, it's been added both UDB 3.0 (two ports) and SATA 6.0 Gbps (two connectors), the latter being backed by six SATA 3.0 Gbps 'plugs'. The upcoming motherboard also features a 24-phase power design, 2oz copper, and includes support for LGA 1156 processors, four DDR3 memory slots, four PCI-Express x16 slots (SLI/CrossFireX-ready), 7.1 channel audio, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two eSATA ports, a debug LED and even a FireWire connector. The P55A-UD6 should become available together with at least two more USB 3.0/SATA 6.0 Gbps boards in the coming weeks. Until then you can also check out the video presentation of the P55A-UD6 and the P55A-UD4P (courtesy of TweakTown) which is located here.
