Under the Compaq brand HP is letting loose its first Windows 7 multitouch certified monitor, the L2105tm. The 21.5-inch widescreen LCD features optical touch technology, and has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 170-degree viewing angle, a 5 ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, plus D-Sub and DVI connection options. The Compaq L2105tm boasts a 2W speaker system too and is going on sale today for $299.
