LaCie's 4big Quadra offers up to 6TB in storage space

LaCie's Neil Poulton-designed 4big Quadra storage solution is taking advantage of the latest 3.5-inch hard drives from Seagate and this enables it to be available in a 6TB configuration. Measuring 222 x 180 x 175 mm, the 4-drive RAID external storage device is offered with up to four 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and is bundled with the Genie Backup Manager Pro and Intego Backup Manager Pro applications which work with Windows (200, XP, Vista) and Mac OS X respectively. The 6TB 4big Quadra comes with USB 2.0, FireWire 400, 800 and eSATA connectivity and costs $1,749.
